Dua For Anxiety and Sorry

If anxiety and distress happens to a Muslim, he or she should supplicate to Allah, it doesn't mean that we're invulnerable to experience such challenges, the supplications are as follows;

O Allah, I am Your slave and the son of Your male slave and the son of your female slave. My forehead is in Your Hand (i.e. You have control over me). Your Judgment upon me is assured and Your Decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every Name that You have named Yourself with, revealed in Your Book, taught any one of Your creation or kept unto Yourself in the knowledge of the unseen that is with You, to make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness and the reliever of my distress.

O Allah, I seek refuge in you from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men.

Patience during Affliction Removes all Sins

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ‎) says: "If I afflict one of My believing slaves and he praises Me and shows patience for what I have afflicted him with; he will get up from his bed the same as the day he was born (free of sins)." And Allah, Ar-Rabb (عزوجل) will say [to the Recording Angels]: 'I fettered (shackled) My slave and afflicted him, continue writing for him what you used to write for him when he was healthy'.” [Reported by Ahmad, Sahih at-Targhib wat Tarhib no. 3423 and Sahih al-Jamie no. 4300]

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “If Allah afflicts a Muslim slave in his body, Allah (عزوجل) will say (to the angels): 'Write for him his good deeds that he used to do. If He (Allah) cures him, He will purify him and if He takes his soul, He will forgive him and be merciful with him.”[Sahih al-Jamie no. 258 and Sahih at Targhib wat-Tarhib no. 3422]

All praise is due to Allah we ask Him to bless the Prophet Sallah Llah Alei Wasalam and the companions and let's die in the path of Qur'an and Sunnah.
