What The Small Deeds That will Leads To Massive Rewards

Allaah (ﷻ) says:

يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ بِڪُمُ ٱلۡيُسۡرَ وَلَا يُرِيدُ بِڪُمُ ٱلۡعُسۡرَ

"Allaah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.” (Al-Baqarah, 2:185)

This statement tells us that religious duties are intended to be easy and that the ease of the deed is not necessarily relative to the reward for it.

Below are some actions that are easy to perform and which when performed, guarantees us a house in Jannah (In'Sha'Allaah)

The Dhikr Upon Entering The Markets

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever enters a market place and says

‘Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyee wa yumeetu wahuwa hayyun laa yamootu, biyadihi alkhayru wahuwa ala kulli shayyin qadeer’

(There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah alone, He has no partners, He has the dominion and for Him is all the praise, He gives life and He takes life and He is the ever-living and does not die, in His hand is goodness and He is capable of all things)

"Allaah shall record a million good deeds for him, wipe a million evil deeds away from him, and raise a million ranks for him.”

(Sunan al-Nasa'ee, 2235)

Building a mosque for the sake of Allaah

The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allaah, like a sparrow's nest (i.e even if it be very small) for Allaah or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise."

(Sunan Ibn Majah 738)

"Building a mosque" is participating either financially or physically in the building of a mosque.

 Reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas ten times.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever reads Soorah ‘Qul Huwa Allaah Ahad’ ten times, Allaah will build for him a house in Jannah”

(al-Jaami' as-Sagheer v. 1 p. 1142, authenticated by Shaikh al-Albaanee)

Praying The Rawaatib

Rawaatib are the voluntary prayers that are attached to the obligatory prayers and are prayed before and after them.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever prays twelve rak’ahs during the night and day, a house will be built for him in Paradise: four before Zuhr and two after, two rak’ahs after Maghrib, two rak’ahs after ‘Isha’ and two rak’ahs before Fajr prayer.”

(Al-Tirmidhi, no. 380)

Filling the Gaps Between the Rows

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever fills the gap, Allaah will raise him a level and build for him a house in Jannah”

[Saheeh at-Targheeb v. 1 p. 336, authenticated by Shaikh al-Albaanee)

NOTE- The gap should be a space where you can fit comfortably, not one where you squeeze yourself in.

Avoiding Arguments

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“I guarantee a house in the lowest parts of Jannah for the one who leaves off argument even when he is right, and a house in the middle part of Jannah for the one who leaves off lying even if he’s just joking, and a house in the highest part of Jannah for the one with good manners”

(Sunan Abi Dawud 4800)

May Allaah guide us to that which pleases Him.

آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ.
