Cooperation In Islam

In the name of Allah,Most Compassionate,Most Merciful. All praises and adorations are due to Allah; and we seek His guidance. I bear witness that there's no partner and Muhammad (Salla Llah Alei Wasalam)is His Messenger.

Means an active help or mutual benefits from one person to another.

All hereby tells the entire ummah of Muhammad (Salla Llah Alei Wasalam) in the Glorious book (Al-Qur'an).

The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.

The Messenger of Allah said,

The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim, he is not unjust with him nor does he forsake him.

In the Sahih,

Allah helps the servant as long as the servant helps his brother.

There are many Hadiths with this meaning, such as, in the Sahih,

The parable of the believers in relation to the kindness, mercy and compassion they have for each other, is that of the body:when an organ of it falls ill, the rest of the body responds with fever and sleeplessness.

And also in Sahih.

A believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts enforce each other.

The Prophet then clasped his hands with the fingers interlaced.

In the precede Ayah Allah Azawajal commands making peace between Muslims that fight each other. Allah says:

And if two parties among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both.

In this regard Allah does not encourage hostility, Allah Azawajal encourage love and Caring with in ourselves. Where Allah says:

Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment.

Allah commands His believing servants to help one another perform righteous, good deeds, which is the meaning of `Al-Birr', and to avoid sins, which is the meaning of `At-Taqwa'.

Mutual support, compassion and care among Muslims, and cooperation in doing good are obligatory.Supporting and helping one another and showing compassion to one another, they will become united and integrated, and they will be saved from the evil of their enemies.

Imam Ahmad recorded that Anas bin Malik said that the Messenger of Allah said,

Support your brother whether he was unjust or the victim of injustice.

He was asked, "O Messenger of Allah! We know about helping him when he suffers injustice, so what about helping him when he commits injustice?"

He said,

Prevent and stop him from committing injustice, and this represents giving support to him.

   Allah says:

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma‘roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful. (Aal `Imran 3:104)

Prophet Muhammad called this Ummah (community) to affirm the Oneness of its Lord (Tawheed), hold fast to His rope, unite in truth, form a single rank against the common enemy, achieve its interests and serve its just causes, in accordance with the commands of Allah.

In conclusion, A Muslim should not fail to offer something to his brothers and help them with what they need in worldly or religious terms. Therefore, dear Muslims! Always unite yourselves and know that your Lord [Allah] is one. Do not harbor one another any grudge, and always suppress your anger by remembering that Allah always loves servants that are patients.

I pray Allah Azawajal to strengthen our love and Caring among the entire Muslim ummah.
